Sun headlines capture moments in time. They express what the nation is thinking. My intention is to capture every headline and to find some of the classics from the past.
Just recently, I made the decision that I'm not going to venture into Journalism. "Wacko Jacko" was a pejorative name given to the singer for his eccentic nature. It was shortened to Jacko later on. It's sick to think that even in his death, the biggest selling newspaper in the UK didn't have the decency to at least refer to him by his normal name.
i remember this headline, it just came to my head now, i should have wrote a complaint, i agree it really does show a lack of decency but after all it is the sun newspaper.
